Standard Power/Torque on a 2.4 is 122bhp/360Nm – but only in 6th gear, every other gear is torque capped. This is not the case with our tuning! Through proper development and testing we can offer the following:

IRB Developments offer two normal packages for 2.4 Tdci that will transform your Defender.
Standard Power/Torque on a 2.4 is 122bhp/360Nm – but only in 6th gear, every other gear is torque capped. This is not the case with our tuning! Through proper development and testing we can offer the following:

IRB425 – can include EGR changes and speedlimiter removal if needed.
140bhp/425Nm Includes any software updates and adaption learns required.

We have developed and refined a unique remap that further enhances the torque curve of the new Puma Diesel Defender, improving the new engine making it more enjoyable and safer to drive, focusing on torque rather than out and out power, you will see improvement in pulling away, improved towing, and reduced overtaking times.

To complement this initial tune, we also recommend the use of an aftermarket replacement air filter and a straight through exhaust downpipe – which removes the catalytic converter. (both at an additional cost).

Further to this conversion we can also offer a larger and more efficient PWR intercooler

These modifications further enhance this remap – and even make a small difference to a standard ‘new’ Defender.

Depending on your driving style, you may also see an improvement in mpg.
